At The Burning Quill, every piece is a personal collaboration between artist, flame, and story. Whether it’s a hand-burned wood artwork, an engraved glass, a set of etched coasters, or another custom item, each commission is treated with the same level of care and precision.

You’re welcome to submit personal photos or reference images drawn from real life, anime, video games, or comics. Please avoid using artwork created by other artists (from platforms like Instagram, DeviantArt, or Pinterest) unless it’s clearly noted as inspiration for something similar in style or tone.

Each commission is individually crafted, with pricing based on time, size, and technique. My current rate is $25 per hour on handmade pyrography artwork. Engraving is item specific.

A full deposit is required to begin your piece—this covers material costs such as wood, glass, or otherwise unexpected cancellations.

I will send an invoice that can be paid digitally. Once payment is received, I will begin your commission. Cancellations/refunds are only to be honored if I have not begun the commission yet.

After your request is submitted, I’ll follow up via email or text to discuss details, pricing, and payment. You’ll receive updates as your piece progresses from concept to completion. Please note: once a piece is started, burns or engravings cannot be undone—each mark is permanent. Be sure your decisions are final before work begins.

When your piece is finished, I’ll reach out to arrange pickup or delivery. Delivery includes a small fee, depending on the size and weight of the package.
